OVERVIEW
We are merely a small group of a world-wide
non-profit organization, the SCA(Society for Creative Anachronism).
In the entire organization, we study much of the renaissance time
period(300AD-1600AD). In this particular group, our concentration
is mainly on dance and dance etiquette mostly from sources dated
back in the renaissance era. We only have dance sources that date
back to 1450AD or later. Those dances are generally taught at
our weekly meetings as well as some dances that were created by
members in the style of the renaissance. For information on where
and when are meetings are, see the link below.
COST
Since this is a non-profit organization,
there is no real cost to join us to come and dance. Although,
since we do have to pay for heat and electricity, it is asked
that a $1 donation be given per person per visit.
HOW TO DRESS
The dress code is casual. Whatever you
wear to go out in public is perfectly acceptable. Dressing up
in garb is also fine, but not required.
